PitmasterX Pulled Chicken
Method: Hot smoking
Suggested Woods: Hickory, Maple, Cherry
Approx. Cook Time: 4-5 hours
- Whole Chicken
- Olive Oil
- BBQ rub
- BBQ Sauce (of your choice)
Score the chicken across the top of the breasts, legs and thighs
Drizzle with olive oil and massage in your BBQ rub.
Put the chickens on the smoker at 225*F and smoke to 190*F meat temp.
Using gloves or a fork, pull the chicken off the bones and seperate them.
Add BBQ sauce and mix well, before scooping onto your bread rolls with some garnish and more BBQ sauce.
